The holiday home 'Martinus 1' is located on a spacious plot behind the house. The cozy holiday home is suitable for 2 persons (on request for 3 persons), on the ground floor and fully equipped.
Next to the house, directly on the Voorstraat, is the apartment 'Martinus 2', suitable for a maximum of 2 people, with its own entrance, unobstructed view and you can enjoy the lovely spacious south-facing roof terrace in complete privacy.
For both accommodations, you have your own parking space on the enclosed grounds and there is a shared shed where you can store your bicycles during your stay, for example.

Martinus Verhuur is a few minutes' walk from the cozy village center of Egmond aan Zee. The bus station and the local supermarket are just around the corner, there are also many nice shops, cozy restaurants and beach pavilions with lovely sunny terraces, for the ultimate holiday feeling.
You can also do all sorts of things in the vicinity of Egmond aan Zee. Walking or cycling through the dunes and forests, enjoying the beautiful always changing sea and Dutch skies during a walk on the beach or enjoying a pleasant beach day together on the beautiful beach directly on the North Sea.
There are many historical or other places of interest in the Egmonden. Such as the Museum van Egmond in the Zuiderstraat, the lighthouse J.C.J. van Speijk and the lifeboat shed on the boulevard and the Jansje Schong Bunker Museum on the sea dunes north of Egmond aan Zee. But the nearby castle quarter in Egmond aan den Hoef or the Abbey of Egmond-Binnen are also definitely worth a visit. If you like art and culture, you can indulge yourself in nearby Bergen.
From Egmond aan Zee you can reach Alkmaar within 15 minutes (by car), where the world-famous Alkmaar Cheese Market takes place every Friday morning from the last Friday of March to September, and in July and August there is an evening cheese market on Tuesdays. A day in Alkmaar and a wonderful browse in d'Oude Stad with the many nice craft shops or a cruise through the canals of Alkmaar is definitely worth it. Amsterdam is only 45 minutes away by car or train, so if you want to visit our capital from your holiday destination Egmond aan Zee, that is certainly one of the possibilities.

Our apartment Martinus 2 is located directly on the Voorstraat with a spacious south-facing roof terrace at the rear with lots of privacy!

Martinus 1 and 2 are fully equipped.
For example, both accommodations have a living room with a sitting area and dining area. Digital LED flat screen TV, radio, DVD and CD player. The open kitchen is fully equipped and you also have access to a washing machine and dryer in Martinus 1. In the bedrooms, the beds are fully equipped with duvets, pillows and linen. Of course the beds are made ready for you. You don't have to take the towels for showering or kitchen linen with you either, they are just waiting for you!

You are very welcome, but smoking is not allowed in our accommodations, only outside on the (roof) terrace!

In cozy Egmond aan Zee there is a wide choice of restaurants, beach pavilions and bar bistros.
All kinds of events are organized in the Egmonden and the surrounding area all year round.
The weekly daily market on Thursday and the fair on Wednesday evening (June to August) in the center of Egmond aan Zee. Furthermore, from April to September, every second Friday of the month, there is a Roots Market and from May to August, every last Sunday of the month, an Art Market on the North boulevard of Egmond aan Zee
New Year's Dive (January 1), Egmond-Pier-Egmond ATB Race and Egmond Half Marathon (second weekend in January) and Walking Marathon Weekend (4th weekend in January).
Twice a year there is a fair on the South boulevard of Egmond aan Zee, the Easter weekend and a whole week in mid-July.
King's Day (April 27), Hoeverdorpsfeest (2nd weekend in June), Visserijdag (third Saturday in June), the Short track racing (1st Thursday in July) are the start of the four-day Egmond Summer Festival in Egmond aan den Hoef.
The Caribbean Weekend (2nd weekend in August), Egmond op z'n Kop (3rd weekend in August), the Art 10 Days in Bergen (aan Zee) at the end of October and the Fjoertoer Egmond (4th weekend in November).
